Ghana’s Black Stars delegation jets in Lilongwe this Friday, a day before their crucial Africa Cup of Nations decisive qualifier against the Flames of Malawi at Civo Stadium.

In a press release Football Association of Malawi (FAM) chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda yesterday confirmed the arrival of the Black Stars who carry to Malawi a two-goal cushion from the first leg of the last qualifying round.

“We are also informing the public that the 35-member Ghana Team delegation will arrive at Kamuzu International Airport on Friday 12th October 2012. They will be accommodated at Golden Peacock Hotel and they will have the feel of Civo Stadium turf on Friday afternoon,” Nyirenda said.

Flames foreign based players have since started trickling in Lilongwe with Thanda Royal Zulu’s Peter Wadabwa as the only late arrival.

Other foreign based players in Flames camp are Esau Kanyenda (Bay United), Robin Ngalande (BidVest Wits University),Robert Ng’ambi (Platinum Stars), Harry Nyirenda (Black Leopards), Atusaye Nyondo (SuperSport United), Simplex Nthala (Vilankulo FC) and Zicco Mkanda (Liga Malcumana, Mozambique)
