Malawi national team football players have been promised better housing for their improved performance against Cad. Minister of sports Mr Chihana has promised better conditions for the flames players.Better pay as well as affordable good quality housing is on the cards.

My Chihana has promised Kinnah Phiri’s men a huge bonus, however he did not disclose where the money will come from and how much will be offered to individual players.

Chihana has told Malawians his plans for the national team, “ we need to support our players and our coach, our players need to be better paid and have to live in better houses for them to be productive”, said a smiling Chihana who is the son of the former AFORD president Mr Chihana senior.

The flames are in a better position having won against Chad and drawn against Nigeria in their two most recent games. The Flames still have a chance in both the Africa cup of nations and the world cup qualification.

Kinnah’s boys have improved recently and are in better shape. The young players who were included in the last game have proved their point and have given the coach a better choice, he now have a wide pool of good players.
